John McDaniel is the go-to arranger and musical director for some of the greatest stars of the North American theatre and cabaret worlds. He has been the arranger and MD for no less than eight Broadway musicals and is also the Artistic Director of the O’Neill Theater Center’s Cabaret Conference.
Barb Jungr performs worldwide on the jazz cabaret stages and has re-invented British and European cabaret, coining the phrase ‘New American Songbook’ to describe her extensive aexplorations of Dylan, Cohen, Springsteen, Byrne and others. Her CDs on Linn records, Naim Label and Kristalyn have been released internationally to rave reviews.
McDaniel’s love of The Beatles’ repertoire attracted Jungr’s attention when he invited her to be Master Teacher at the O’Neill and there they created a Beatles medley for the Gala Performance.
