West End theatre actor Ben Stock returns to London cabaret venue Live at Zédel this week with his new show Land of Make Believe.
Aimed at chasing the ‘January Blues’ away, Stock’s new offering will feature the music of some of musical theatre’s best-loved writers including Stiles and Drewe, Jerry Herman, Noel Coward, Stephen Sondheim and the Sherman Brothers.
With Inga Davis-Rutter at the piano, Stock will play three shows starting on Thursday 19 January, followed by Friday 20 January, and ending on Saturday 21 January at the central London venue.
Stock’s previous show And There Was Music, a musical celebration of the song that inspired his career and life to date, proved to be a hit with audiences at the venue and across the UK and in the Far East.
As well as appearing in West End productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hello, Dolly! and Beauty and the Beast, Stock has also taken to the stage in pantomime and is a regular music hall performer and radio and TV presenter.
