West End favourites Helena Blackman and Amanda Coutts are joining forces in a new cabaret show at Above the Arts in London’s West End.
The latest from show from Paul Burton Productions, the company behind the popular Sunday at the Musicals concerts, Musicals and Beyond will feature the two stars performing a mixture of songs from musical theatre along with pop and ‘diva’ classics.
Blackman first attracted attention on the BBC talent search How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? before winning roles in hit productions of Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, My Fair Lady and The Sound of Music. She is also a regular on the concert circuit.
Best known for playing the role of Scaramouche in the UK tour of We Will Rock You and the role of Meat in the Dominion Theatre production of the Queen musical, Coutts has also appeared in UK touring productions of Starlight Express, Footloose and West Side Story, and in Fame in the West End.
Musicals and Beyond will play the space above the Arts Theatre in Great Newport Street, London WC2H on Sunday 27 August at 4pm.
