Claybourne Elder to bring new show to Arts Theatre

IMG_4101American comedian and musician Claybourne Elder will take to the stage with his new show at London’s award-winning Arts Theatre for one night only on 30 April.

Claybourne Elder: You and Me and Sondheim will feature the Utah-born actor and surprise special guests in a show which will take him on a trip through his life from growing up as a gay Mormon in Utah to stepping out on the New York stage.

A Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel nominee, Elder made his professional debut in the role of Hollis in John Doyle’s 2008 Off-Broadway production of Sondheim’s re-worked Road Show.

Elder went on to appear as George in the Signature Theatre revival of Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George and played Buck Barrow in the original cast of Bonnie and Clyde. His screen credits include a starring role in The Carrie Diaries and his cabaret act has played to sell-out houses across the US.
