The Lyric Hammersmith has revealed full casting details for Alan Parker’s exuberant musical Bugsy Malone which returns to the theatre for a limited run next month.
The Olivier-nominated production which reopened the Lyric last year following its major redevelopment will begin its 12-week run on 11 June.
A mixture of young performers from the 2015 show will be joined by new faces including several youngsters who will be making their professional debut.
Using three different casts in rotation, the production which is directed by Sean Holmes and choreographed by Drew McOnie, features youngsters aged nine and over.
Sharing the title role are Mark Charles, Louis Doran, and Adryan Dorset-Pitt. Blousey Brown will be played by Dayna Cherry Chapman Dixon, Tabitha Knowles and Georgia Pemberton. Rhianna Dorris, Olivier Shaye Masterson and Leni Zieglmeier will play Tallulah.
Fat Sam will be played by Vincent Finch, Max Gill and Maddison Tyson. Dandy Dan will be played by Archie Barnes, Alesandro Bonelli and Oliver Emery. The role of Fizzy will be shared by Elliot Aubrey, Denzel Eboji and Mekai Manu. Lena/Babyface will be played by Emily Beacock, Jaydah Bell-Ricketts and Leah Levman.
The ensemble includes: Jade Albertsen, Damian Buhagiar, Ronan Burns, Alice Harvey, Cristina Hoey, Barney Hudson, Kirsty Ingram, Jordan Laviniere, Lindsay McCallister, Jacques Miche, Lauran Ray, Lucy Thomas, Alex Thomas Smith, Marcus Sharif and Dale White.

The creative team includes designer Jon Bausor, musical director Phil Bateman, lighting designer James Farncombe, sound designer Ben Harrison, fight director Kate Waters, voice and dialect coach Hugh O’Shea, casting director Will Burton and children’s casting director Jessica Ronane.
