Stage and screen favourite Hannah Waddingham will play a one night only show at London’s Hippodrome Casino next month.
Presented by Club 11 London and The Hippodrome, the performance on Thursday 27 April will feature the actress who has just finished filming a recurring role in US cult hit series 12 Monkeys, with her ‘Mini Big Band’.
With special guests The Fabulous Lounge Swingers and Mazz Murray, Waddingham will take her audience on a trip through the songs from the American songbook and musical theatre classics that have provided the soundtrack for her successful 20-year career.
A three-time Olivier Award nominee (for Spamalot, A Little Night Music and Kiss Me, Kate), Waddingham has appeared in numerous major productions including The Wizard of Oz at The Palladium and the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Into the Woods.
The London-born actress and singer first attracted attention as The Lady of The Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot, a role which she originated in London and then reprised on Broadway, winning the award for Best Newcomer on Broadway in 2009.
Her screen career has included roles in ITV comedy Benidorm and in the blockbusting Game of Thrones.
