Musical theatre favourites will take to the stage at London’s Hippodrome on Sunday (30 April) to celebrate the work of musical comedy composer Alexander S. Bermange.
Celebrating the launch of Whit & Whimsy, a double album of the writer’s songs recorded by a star-studded line-up of stage and screen favourites, the live show will feature performances by a number of the album’s artists alongside special guests.

Produced by Mike Dixon, the new album features special performances of some of Bermange’s most popular comic creations by stars including Miriam Margolyes, Nigel Planer, Tracie Bennett and Ian Bartholomew.
With all tracks written by Bermange, the content of the 2 CD set includes a number of songs that poke gentle fun at the musical theatre genre including ‘It’s Lovely Being a Luvvie’, ‘Stuck in the Ensemble’ and ‘Audition’.
