Julian Ovenden stars in Rodgers and Hammerstein concert

OVENDEN JULIAN4 copyStage and screen artist Julian Ovenden will be one of the stars performing with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra at a special event to celebrate the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein in September.

The Downton Abbey actor who starred in ITV’s Sound of Music Live and has recently released his latest album as a solo singer, is the first name to be announced for the show at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 15 September.

Something Wonderful: The Rodgers and Hammerstein Concert will feature Ovendon, along with a number of other yet to be revealed leading musical theatre stars, performing a selection of classics written by the legendary Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.

Further details of the all-star line-up will be announced at a later date.
