Loserville returns to the Union Theatre in December

Loserville, the musical co-written by Busted star James Bourne and Elliot Davis is returning to London’s Union Theatre this December.

In the week it was announced that pop group Busted had re-formed, the 2009 musical based on Welcome to Loserville – the 2005 album by Bourne’s second group Son Of Dork – is revived by director Michael Burgen (Our House).

The production, which runs from 2 December until 20 December (press night is 4 December), will be choreographed by Matt Krzan (Cool Rider) with musical direction by Dan Jarvis and lighting design by Tim Deiling. The show will be produced by Sasha Regan.

The cast is headed by Joshua Wyatt (Matilda) in the central role of Michael Dork with Holly-Anne Hull returning to the character she played in the Union’s previous production of Loserville, Holly Manson. Other cast members include: Kate Leiper, Shane Gibb, Max Panks, Gareth Evans, James Sinclair, Leo Sene, Thomas Cotran; Kimberley Powell; and Charlotte Reavey.

The ensemble also includes Christopher Tindai, Simon Gravino, James Wakeling, Remy Sweeney, Abby-Rose Bryant, Chantel Bellew, Sian Nathaniel-James and Katy Stephens.
