The hound with a nose for sniffing out spooky mysteries, Scooby-Doo will be taking centrestage in the West End this summer in a major new family musical.
Featuring the much-loved cartoon creation as well as the Mystery Inc. gang of Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma, Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries will drive on to the stage at the London Palladium from 18 until 21 August.
Fresh from a sell-out tour of North America, the colourful show reunites the Australian tour’s creative team of writer and director Theresa Borg, composer Craig Bryant and choreographer Katie Ditchburn.
Presented by Warner Bros, Consumer Products and Life Like Touring, and based on TV’s longest-running animated series, the energetic show features big musical numbers including a reworking of the instantly recognisable theme song.
Following on from the much-loved format of the animated TV series and the blockbuster live action films, the show features Scooby and the team tackling a mystery involving ghostly goings-on in a local theatre.
Tickets for the 12 performances at the London Palladium, the show’s only UK dates this year, went on sale on Wednesday 22 June.
