Small Faces musical All Or Nothing – details of autumn tour

Mod-themed musical All Or Nothing is heading back on the road this September for its third UK tour since its successful London launch last March.

After completing its current national tour in Cheltenham on 29 July, the musical which tells the story of the classic British rock band the Small Faces will begin its autumn tour in Greenwich on 4 September.

Featuring all the Small Faces’ biggest hits including ‘Itchycoo Park’ and ‘All or Nothing’, the show about the four young men from London’s East End who became the Godfathers of the Mod movement was first performed in Brighton in 2013. The current critically-acclaimed production opened at the Vaults Theatre in London in March 2016.

The autumn tour will take in dates in Liverpool, Southend, Swindon, Bury St Edmunds, Durham, Chester, Stirling, Dundee, Aylesbury, Belfast, Dublin, Preston, Southampton, Barnstaple, Torquay and Harrogate.

Featuring the show’s writer, former EastEnders actress Carol Harrison who will once again play Kay Marriott for some performances, the production stars former Bill favourite Chris Simmons as Steve Marriott, Stefan Edwards as Kenney Jones, Russell Floyd as Don Arden, Josh Maddison as Ian McLagan, Joseph Peters as Jimmy Winston, Samuel Pope as Young Steve Marriott, and Stanton Wright as Ronnie Lane.

The cast also includes: Daniel Beales, Sophia Behn, Melissa Brown-Taylor, Daisy Darvill, Fran Dearlove, Katie Faye, Alexander Gold and Danielle Johnson.

Commenting on the success of her creation, Harrison said “It’s a real honour to be able to bring the extraordinary world of the Small Faces back to the fans and to a brand new audience, young and old. Our live band and cast tell the story of the rise and fall of the band, a journey as vivid and colourful as their sound, and get to showcase an amazing catalogue of music – hard-edged R&B. This is music which influenced a generation of musicians from Paul Weller and The Jam to Oasis, Blur, The Verve and The Arctic Monkeys, not to mention millions of fans. Book – it’s truly a concert of a lifetime!”

All Or Nothing has won the backing of many of those who feature in the story including singer P.P. Arnold and Steve Marriott’s daughter Mollie who serves as the show’s vocal coach.
