The UK première of David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane’s musical comedy adaptation of Pedro Almodóvar’s Oscar-nominated film Women On the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown opened at the Playhouse Theatre on 12 January 2015.

Producer Howard Panter said: “We are thrilled that Women On the Verge starring the magnificent Tamsin Greig is delighting audiences at the Playhouse, otherwise known as Madrid-on-Thames. It has been a great joy to bring this fantastic and funny musical to London, with audiences being swept up in the comedy action and gorgeous Latin rhythms of our onstage band. Our audiences have really embraced this breath of fresh air musical comedy, and the demand for tickets to Women On the Verge marks an exciting moment in the West End.”

Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown is produced in the West End by Howard Panter for The Ambassador Theatre Group.
