Sam Bailey, who won ITV’s The X Factor in 2013, will take the stage in London’s West End for the first time in her career for a one-off concert at the Lyric Theatre. Bailey and a plethora of special guests will perform an evening of musical theatre on 12 October 2015.
Winners of Britain’s Got Talent, Collabro; two-time Olivier Award nominee Michael Xavier; and US musical theatre composer Scott Alan are to lead the guests.
Sam Bailey: Live in the West End will also feature appearances from Les Misérables alumni, The Boys of the Barricade, and a choir from Guildford School of Acting. Choreography will be by Ciarán Connolly, who is currently working with Darcey Bussell on her new fitness regime and next will be choreographing Sleeping Beauty in Lowestoft. The dance ensemble will feature Russell Fine, Lucy Marie Fitzgerald, Joshua Glavin, Cameron Macdonald, Katie Monks, Scott Norton, Charlotte Oakley and Jazz Peters.
Speaking of the concert, Bailey said: “I can’t wait to take the stage in London’s incredible West End and have the chance to perform some of my favourite musical theatre numbers. It’s going to be a fantastic night with a few surprises for the audience!”
