Collaborations brings together some of the best songwriters in the music industry with an array of performers currently working in the West End, and is sold in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The recording is a celebration of songs by writer/composer Elliot Davis (co-writer of Olivier-nominated musical Loserville), written with Adam Bard, James Bourne, Stephen Clark, Anthony Drewe, Graham Gouldman, Sam Kenyon and Andy Stocks, and includes songs taken from musicals Loserville, Out There and Best Friends and Butterflies.
Performing on Collaborations are Julie Atherton (Avenue Q), Paul Baker (Olivier winner for Taboo), James Bourne (Busted), Kirsty Hoiles (Betty Blues Eyes), Caroline Sheen (Les Miserables), Scarlett Strallen (A Chorus Line), Carley Stenson (Shrek) and two-time Olivier nominee Michael Xavier.
The official album launch, produced by Paulden Hall Productions in association with Simon Greiff for SimG Records, is this Sunday, 22 September at the St James Theatre Studio, with two concert performances at 4pm and 7.30pm, and will feature many of the collaborators from the album. All profits from the launch are also going to Teenage Cancer Trust.
