Alfie Boe and Sheridan Smith will be among the 2019 line-up of genre favourites climbing aboard the second Stages floating musical theatre festival this autumn.
Boe will follow his touring and recording partner Michael Ball, who headlined the UK’s first specialist musical theatre festival at sea last year, to take to the high seas along with Smith and returning stars, musical theatre group Collabro.
Launching on a round trip from Southampton on 14 October 2019, this year’s four-night Floating Festival Stages on board the Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas follows a successful launch in 2018.
Produced by Floating Festivals with assistance from Royal Caribbean, the Stages cruise offers a star-studded mixture of full live shows and performances, workshops with the stars and live Q&A events. The 2019 cruise will include a full day ashore in Dublin.

Stages’ maiden voyage featured headline performances from stars including Michael Ball, Beverley Knight, Lee Mead and Kerry Ellis and Q&A events featuring Arlene Phillips and Don Black.
All Floating Festivals packages also include complimentary à la carte restaurant and buffet dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Speciality restaurants are also available for an additional charge.
