The team behind the well-received original musical The Dysfunctional Guide to Being a Third Wheel has created a new online spin-off series aimed at stay-at-home audiences.
Based on the show which debuted at London’s Crazy Coqs in 2017 and was due to return to the capital in June, Third Wheel follows the fortunes of Pam Maguire who’s in love with Sid who lives in the flat next door. Stuck in quarantine during lockdown, Pam’s concerned that Sid is starting to get close to his flatmate Joanna.
Written by Henry Roadnight and Adam Johnson and presented by Dysfunctional Productions, the series is recorded in a fly-on-wall style with the actors all making their own contributions from their homes.
After winning rave reviews for her performance as Pam in the Crazy Coqs production, Aveen Biddle returns to the role for the series. The episodes also feature Jack McNeill as Sid, Ashleigh Johnston as Joanna and James Stirling as Smile With Kyle.
