Boosted by the recent blockbuster movie adaptations directed by Jon M. Chu and starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the stage show – featuring Stephen Schwartz’s gorgeous score – continues to be one of the West End’s most popular family musicals.
Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein’s beloved musical Kinky Boots has wowed in the West End before so we’re thrilled that the show is strutting its way back, this time taking up residence at the London Coliseum. Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe stars as Lola in the story of the unlikely team-up between a shoemaker and a drag queen. With a gloriously catchy soundtrack, memorable characters and inspiring themes about acceptance and overcoming adversity, this feel-good musical is sure to brighten up your day.
My Neighbour Totoro at the Gillian Lynne Theatre is an adaptation of the incredibly popular 1988 animated feature film by Hayao Miyazaki. It’s brought to the stage by the original composer Joe Hisaishi and it’s a fresh new adaptation by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It’s written by the playwright Tom Morton-Smith.
The production offers audiences a magical journey into the wonders of childhood imagination and the beauty of friendship. One of the most talked about shows that has hit the city in recent years, witness the jaw-dropping experience of this show for yourself!
