Andrew Barth Feldman to star in Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik’s NERO

Broadway star Andrew Barth Feldman will make his London debut in Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik’s NERO at Southwark Playhouse Elephant later this year.

Best known for his performance in the title role in the Broadway production of Dear Evan Hansen when he was just 16 years old, Feldman will take on another title role in the latest musical from the team behind the multi-award-winning Spring Awakening – playwright and lyricist Sater and singer/songwriter Sheik.

The musical which reimagines the story of the notorious Roman emperor for a contemporary audience will play the London venue from 2 November to 5 December.

Director Lindsay Posner leads a creative team that also includes choreographer James Cousins, musical supervisor and vocal arranger Phil Bateman, musical director Ben McQuigg, designer Georgia Lowe, lighting designer Robbie Butler, sound designer Tony Gayle, casting director Harry Blumenau, associate choreographer Georges Hanns, costume supervisor Maybelle Laye, props supervisor Props by Eve, and producer SeenSee Company and Park Myung-sung, with general management by Lambert Jackson.
