Stage and screen veteran Bobby Crush will step on board new musical based on much-loved 1960s movie Summer Holiday for its first eight weeks on the road when the touring production launches in May.
Joining the previously announced Ray Quinn who will be in the driving seat for the UK tour, the star who shot to fame as a young pianist on the TV talent show Opportunity Knocks will feature in the role of Jerry for the first few stops on the tour which begins at the Liverpool Empire on 8 May 2018.

Featuring hit songs including ‘In the Country’, ‘Bachelor Boy’, ‘Move It’, ‘Living Doll’, ‘The Young Ones’ and the title song ‘Summer Holiday’, the production will be executive produced by David King and feature orchestrations by Keith Strachan. Further casting will be announced at a later date.
