Emer Dineen, Alex Wadham Craig Bartley, Dominic Booth, Olivia Saunders, Sarah Louise Hughes, William Elijah Lewis and Yasmin Sharp
Casting has been confirmed for The Other Palace Studio run of surrealist musical Trompe L’Oeil.
Due to play the London venue from 28 September until 15 October 2023, the production will feature Emer Dineen (Modest, Kiln Theatre) as Trump, Alex Wadham (42nd Street, Upstairs at the Gatehouse) as RIP, Craig Bartley (The Third Man, Menier Chocolate Factory) as Chateau LaFitte, Dominic Booth (We Will Rock You, UK tour) as Demi, Olivia Saunders (Hex, National Theatre) as Ivanka, Sarah Louise Hughes (The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Barn Theatre) as The Imitator, with William Elijah Lewis making his London stage debut and Yasmin Sharp (Chase The Musical, The Other Palace Studio) in the Ensemble.
Inspired by the work of surrealist artists Escher, Magritte and Salvador Dali, Henry Parkman Biggs’ work mixes a range of musical genres including rap, cabaret and bubble-gum pop.
Presented by Funky Tickle Productions, the production is directed and choreographed by Blair Anderson, with musical supervision and arrangements by Mark Crossland. The creative team also includes musical director Georgia Rawlins, associate musical supervisor Laurence Stannard, associate choreographer Thomas Ashton. General Management is by Carter Dixon McGill.
The Other Palace run follows a successful Off-Broadway debut in 2021, a London Fringe premiere run at north London’s Upstairs at The Gatehouse in 2022 and a spring presentation at the Fluctuart gallery on the Seine in Paris.
