Chelsea nightspot The Pheasantry celebrates its tenth anniversary

Chelsea nightspot The Pheasantry celebrates its tenth anniversary since taking over the much-missed Pizza on the Park as Pizza Express’ flagship cabaret venue with four spectacular concerts in November.

Cabaret, musical theatre, jazz, pop and comedy giants will join forces from 11-14 November 2019 for gala evenings which will start with a champagne reception.

Fascinating Aida lead off an array of all-the-talents which include Elaine Delmar, Emma Hatton, Kit and McConnel, Liane Carroll, Harry The Piano, Sarah Moule, Summer Strallen, Pete Atkin, Nicky Haslam, Earl Okin and Dominic Aldiss.

Since Manhattan legend Steve Ross brought the curtain down on the Pizza on the Park in June 2010, the stars of showbusiness to have appeared at “The Phes” are legion.

American cabaret greats Ann Hampton Callaway, Amanda McBroom, Christine Andreas, Karen Oberlin, Natalie Douglas and Ross himself have graced the room.

So too British and Irish legends Maria Friedman, Janie Dee, Dillie Keane, Bonnie Langford, Brian May (of Queen), Marti Webb, Ed Sheehan, Clare Teal, Lee Mead, Barbara Dickson, Kerry Ellis, Ian Shaw, Jessie Buckley and New York-born but honorary Brit Craig Peters… the list is endless.

In November there will be three acts each day. Fascinating Aida (Dillie Keane, Adele Anderson and Liza Pulman) reunite on opening night prior to their three-week Christmas stint at the Southbank Centre (starts 10 December) and after co-founder Keane’s four-night solo reprise of her Love & Other Bad Ideas show first seen at The Pheasantry in May.

They play in company with Strallen and Aldiss on 11 November, Carroll, Hatton and Harry The Piano (12), Kit & McConnel, Moule and Atkin (13), and Delmar, Haslam and Okin, with a combined age of 231, bat for the golden oldies (14). It’s going to be some party!
