Strictly Come Dancing’s favourite Mr Nasty Craig Revel Horwood will take to the road across the UK in early 2022 with his debut solo tour.
Presented by So Comedy and Broken Robot Productions by arrangement with Gavin Barker Associates, The All Balls and Glitter Tour will offer audiences a glimpse into the life and career of the hard-to-please King of the Saturday night talent show put-down.
Opening at the Town Hall in Cheltenham on 24 March 2022, the show will feature a mix of backstage gossip and performances of some of the music that has provided the soundtrack to the star’s glittering career.
Although best-known in the UK for his headline hitting presence on the Strictly judging panel since the show’s launch in 2004, Revel Horwood’s career in entertainment began in his home country of Australia with stage productions of musicals including West Side Story and La Cage Aux Folles.
On arriving in Europe, Revel Horwood joined the company at the famous cabaret club Lido Du Paris as a dancer before moving to the legendary Moulin Rouge as principal singer.
The touring production of Cats brought Revel Horwood to the UK, and his West End credits soon included Miss Saigon and the original cast of Crazy For You.
Revel Horwood’s vast musical theatre credentials include playing Miss Hannigan in multiple productions of Annie and directing and choreographing productions of a range of major shows including Sister Act, Chess and the new touring production of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical which is now scheduled to launch in October next year.
