What a night the Musical Theatre Review Red Carpet team had at the Olivier Awards 2019. Reporter Andy Olivier and cameraman Sam Dickinson (of Leumas Media) spoke to several of the nominees and guests as they made their way into the star-studded ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.
Interviewees include Kevin and Joanne Clifton of BBC Strictly fame (also now strutting their stuff in musicals Rock of Ages and The Rocky Horror Show); Danielle De Niese (soon to appear in Man of La Mancha at the London Coliseum); Mamma Mia!’s Ricky Butt, Sara Poyzer and Kate Graham; Olivier Award winner Jonathan Bailey and his co-star Richard Fleeshman (Company); Six The Musical writers Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss plus cast members Courtney Stapleton, Vicki Manser and Grace Mouat; and Layton Williams (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie).
