From Peckham to venues across UK – Only Fools and Horses The Musical

The Trotter family will be hitting the road next year when the hit West End show Only Fools and Horses The Musical embarks on a major tour of the UK which will culminate in a visit to Dublin in 2025.

Following a record-breaking four-year run and over 1,000 performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, the much-loved musical which took its final bow in London earlier this year will bring Del Boy, Rodney and co to theatres across the country from September 2024.

Announcing the tour, co-creator and comedian Paul Whitehouse who returned to the role of Grandad for the final West End performances, said: “Following four amazing years in the West End, I’m thrilled we are announcing today that Only Fools and Horses The Musical is going on tour. I’ve long been asked by many fans when this might happen, so I’m delighted to confirm that the show will be coming to a theatre near you in September next year. All of the characters we know and love from the Only Fools television series will be live on stage, as we take Peckham on the road! Bonnet de douche!”

Based on John Sullivan’s iconic and record-breaking television show, and featuring cherished material from the TV series the musical has a script and original score written by John Sullivan’s son, Jim and comedian Whitehouse. Featuring musical contributions from Chas ‘n’ Dave, the feel-good, family-friendly production directed by Caroline Jay Ranger premiered in the West End in February 2019.

Ranger will also direct the touring production which will launch in Bromley at the Churchill Theatre from 23-28 September 2024 before travelling to over 30 towns and cities up and down the UK. Final dates take place at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin from 30 June-5 July 2025.
