Guest stars confirmed for Jason Robert Brown’s Haymarket show

A trio of West End stars will join Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Jason Robert Brown when he returns to London at the end of this month for a special concert at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Part of the newly launched Sunday Encounters series, the concert on 31 March 2019 will feature Brown on piano with special guests Carrie Hope Fletcher, Tyrone Huntley and Rachel Tucker.

Brown, whose hit musicals include Honeymoon in Vegas, The Bridges of Madison County, Parade, 13 and The Last Five Years, has previously played sold-out concerts in London at the Royal Festival Hall, Garrick Theatre, Apollo Theatre, Charing Cross Theatre and the London Palladium.

The Haymarket show will feature Brown and his guest singers performing songs from Brown’s musicals along with new material from his solo album ‘How We React and How We Recover’.

After making her own successful solo concert debut last March, stage and YouTube favourite Carrie Hope Fletcher (The Addams Family) has recently celebrated even more success as the leading lady in hit show Heathers.

Due to make his directorial debut with a new production of Ain’t Misbehavin’, opening this Friday (15 March) at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester ahead of a London run at the Southwark Playhouse, award-winning actor Huntley recently starred in the Lyric Hammersmith’s Leave To Remain. The actor’s breakthrough performance as Judas Iscariot in the critically acclaimed Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Jesus Christ Superstar earned him the Evening Standard Award for Emerging Talent.

Famous for playing the role of Elphaba longer than any other actress in the multi-award-winning Wicked’s history, and currently starring in the hit Come From Away, Tucker previously joined Brown on stage for his last London concert at the Palladium in April 2018.
