Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Jenna Russell and quadruple Tony nominee Judy Kuhn will be the next star names to join Seth Rudetsky for his popular Broadway @ Leicester Square Theatre series early this year.
With Rudetsky once again acting as host and providing piano accompaniment, Russell (Fun Home, The Young Vic, Dr Faustus, The Duke of York’s Theatre), who took home the 2007 Olivier Award for her performance in Sunday in the Park With George at the Wyndham’s Theatre, will take to the stage on at 4pm on Sunday 3 February 2019.
Currently starring in the Menier Chocolate Factory’s hit production of Fiddler On the Roof, Kuhn (Fun Home, Broadway, Metropolis, West End) will step in for the evening concert at 8pm on 3 February 2019.
Russell and Kuhn are the latest big-name stars to appear in Broadway@ Leicester Square which began in 2013 with Broadway legend Patti LuPone. The series returned in 2016 with multi-award winning Audra McDonald taking centre stage and in 2018 with stage and screen star John Barrowman and West End favourite Ramin Karimloo.
Produced by Mark Cortale, the intimate shows feature a mix of music and showstopping songs with performer, composer and radio host Rudestsky guiding his guest in a celebration of Broadway.
