Tyrone Huntley will play Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre

Full casting has been announced for this summer’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s groundbreaking musical Jesus Christ Superstar.

Singer-songwriter Declan Bennett, who was the original lead in the London cast of Once, will take to the stage in the title role in Rice and Lloyd Webber’s hit show from 15 July until 27 August.

Tyrone Huntley (Judas), who has previously appeared at the Open Air Theatre in Porgy and Bess, will join the cast of the much-anticipated Savoy Theatre production of Dreamgirls later this year.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anoushka Lucas (Mary Magdelene) won the Jazz FM Love Supreme competition in 2013 and played piano and percussion in the band of The Lightning Child at Shakespeare’s Globe and collaborated with Ché Walker on The Etienne Sisters at Stratford East.
