Kathleen Turner to bring new one woman show to The Other Palace and beyond

Screen and stage star Kathleen Turner will bring her new one woman show to the UK next year beginning with a three-week run at The Other Palace Theatre in London.

Presented by Fane Productions, Finding My Voice combines classic songs from the American songbook with stories about the actress’ life and career.

Directed by Andy Gale, the Hollywood star is accompanied by Mark Janas, and performs songs including ‘Let’s Fall in Love’, ‘I’d Rather Be Sailing’, ‘On the Street Where You Live’, and ‘Every Time We Say Goodbye’.

Running from 17 April until 6 May at The Other Palace, the show will then travel to Salford, Bury, Horsham, Colchester, Worthing and Edinburgh.

A double Golden Globe Award winner and a double Tony Award-nominee, Turner was one of the most sought-after actresses and biggest box office draws of the 1980s. Her performances in hit films including Body Heat, The Man With Two Brains, Prizzi’s Honor, and John Waters’ cult classic Serial Mom made her an international star.

The actress famously lent her distinctive voice to cartoon temptress Jessica Rabbit in the part animation/part live action Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and formed a popular partnership with Michael Douglas and Danny DeVito which spawned three hit films: Romancing The Stone, The Jewel Of The Nile and The War of the Roses.

On stage the star has won acclaim for her performances on Broadway and in the West End and last year she was back on the American stage in Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking.
