Upstairs At the Gatehouse in London’s Highgate will play host to Ovation’s new production of Legally Blonde the Musical this Christmas season.
The staging of the multi-award winning show will run at the venue from 16 December 2015 until 31 January 2016.
Casting details have yet to be announced, but the creative team is in place and includes: director John Plews, musical director Matt Abrams, choreographer Anthony Whiteman, lighting designer Sam Waddington, sound designer Jon Raper and producer Katie Plews.
Legally Blonde has music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach. The story is based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and and the 2001 film of the same name.
The Kilworth House Theatre in Leicestershire recently staged a production of Legally Blonde, while Nikolai Foster will direct a new production of the show in 2016, opening at Leicester Curve on 11 April and running until 14 May.
