Little Death Club runs at the Underbelly Festival, London until 23 June 2019 and then continues touring.

This electric, jaw-dropping, boundary-breaking cabaret at the Underbelly Festival Southbank is not one to be missed this summer. Bernie Dieter’s Little Death Club is a modern day cabaret that brings copious amounts of humour and passion with a touch of fire.
There is always a great atmosphere at the Underbelly Festival with everyone chatting and enjoying themselves in the escape on the Southbank. The venue for is alive with the quirky performers warming up and breaking the standard fourth wall by interacting with and making eyes at the audience. The band is setting the mood with pulse invigorating songs and you know you are in for a night of adventure.
Dieter opens the show in dramatic style, breaking all boundaries and enticing us on this journey with her expressive big eyes and wild physicality. Within moments she has mounted an audience member and forces the rest of the audience out of a ‘behind-the-screen world’ and into a tactile and interactive human experience.
Although there are traditional acts and musical numbers, this is no ordinary cabaret show. Dieter’s amazing ability to draw in the audience with her incredible vocal ability and her brave interactions with a nervous audience make her the heartbeat of the show.
Beau Sargent stands out not only because of his amazing contortion and aerial skills, but also by the incredible presence he brings into the space. Men and women alike cannot take their eyes off of Sargent every time he enters.
Kitty Bang Bang also amazes us as she sets herself on fire right in front of our eyes. Fancy Chance is one of the few remaining hair hanging artists in the world, and she does not disappoint. So, don’t be fooled by the tin, this show is full of surprises.
Treat yourself and let Dieter’s Little Death Club take you on a 60 minute adventure of thrills and skills leaving you peeling your jaw off of the floor when the lights come up. In a world where more and more boundaries are being put up, Dieter and her troop of eccentrics liberate us and remind us that difference is nothing to be afraid of.
