Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World – the pop-powered musical which celebrates some of history’s most inspirational women – will play The Other Palace this summer.

Presented by Kenny Wax Productions, the UK Theatre Award-winning musical will play the London venue from 20 July until 8 September.

Written by dramatist Chris Bush (Standing at the Sky’s Edge, National Theatre), the stage adaptation of Kate Pankhurst’s award-winning picture book features music by chart-topping songwriter Miranda Cooper and hit songwriter Jennifer Decilveo with live arrangements by Jen Green.

The creative team is completed by director Amy Hodge, choreographer Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe, designer Joanna Scotcher, musical director and supervisor Audra Cramer, lighting designer Zoe Spurr, sound designer Carolyn Downing and co-sound designer Rob Bettle.

A descendant of suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, Kate Pankhurst’s book offers a guide to some of the famous females who have helped shape the world. Historical figures featured in the work include Jane Austen, Marie Curie, Amelia Earhart, Frida Kahlo and Rosa Parks.

Winner of Best Show for Children & Young People at the 2022 UK Theatre Awards, Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World received its world premiere at the Mayflower Mast Studio in Southampton in 2021 at the start of the first of three successful tours.
