Theatregoers have just six weeks left to catch Mrs Henderson Presents at London’s Noel Coward Theatre.
Based on the 2005 film of the same name, the final performance in the production’s limited 18-week season will be on 18 June.
Tracie Bennett, a double Olivier Award-winner for her performances in the musicals She Loves Me and Hairspray, heads the cast in the title role.
Ian Bartholomew (Into the Woods, Radio Times) and Emma Williams co-star along with former soap star Jamie Foreman. The cast also includes: Robert Hands, Matthew Malthouse, Samuel Holmes, Katie Bernstein, Lizzy Connolly, Lauren Hood and Liz Ewing.
The company is completed by Sarah Bakker, Andrew Bryant Rhiannon Chesterman, Alexander Delamere, Emily Goodenough, Victoria Hay, Oliver Jackson, Ian Gareth Jones, Katrina Kleve, Lauren Logan, Tania Newton, Sam O’Rourke, Neil Stewart and Dickie Wood.
Based on the original screenplay by Martin Sherman the musical version of Mrs Henderson Presents has a book and is directed by Terry Johnson. Lyrics are by Don Black with music by George Fenton and Simon Chamberlain who both collaborated on the original film.
The production is choreographed by Andrew Wright, with set design by Tim Shortall, costume design by Paul Wills, lighting design by Ben Ormerod and sound design by Gareth Owen. Wig, hair and make-up design is by Richard Mawbey, orchestrations are by Larry Blank with musical supervision by Mike Dixon.
