YouTube favourite and Laine Theatre Arts School student Sam Wearing will make his debut solo concert appearance in his hometown of Swindon this September.
An Evening With Sam Wearing will feature the young performer as he takes the audience on a personal journey through his life so far using a mixture of musical theatre pieces and pop songs.
Accompanied on grand piano by musical director Ben Kennedy, Wearing will make his professional concert debut at the Swindon Arts Centre on 3 September.
Wearing who became a YouTube star after posting videos of himself singing as a means of coping with the loss of his mother to cancer, is due to begin a three-year course at Epsom’s Laine Theatre Arts School.
Offered a full scholarship by the college’s founder Betty Laine, Wearing has been performing since he was seven years old with career highlights so far including performing solo at the O2 Arena during the Voice In A Million event. He has also appeared with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall.
