Ruthie Henshall and Jason Manford will host this year’s Magic At The Musicals when it returns to the Royal Albert Hall on 17 October 2021
Produced by TBI Media and Magic Radio, the popular annual event will once again feature performances from the casts of some of the West End’s biggest and best-loved shows.
Commenting on this year’s show, West End leading lady and regular Magic Radio presenter, Henshall said: “I am so thrilled and excited about hosting Magic at the Musicals. It is one of the nights of the year I look forward to most.
“For the theatre to have been dormant for so long it’s only fitting to give all the shows the Royal Albert Hall as a platform and a backdrop. Magic Radio knows how to put on a show and hosting with Jason Manford is anyone’s dream job! The man is funny, talented and an all-round lovely bloke. Very chuffed it’s him.”
Featuring a mix of new and long-running musicals, the evening will feature the casts of: & Juliet, Back to the Future The Musical, Cinderella, Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, Frozen, Jersey Boys, Disney’s The Lion King, Mamma Mia! The Musical, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical, Pretty Woman and The Prince of Egypt.
