
Shona Lindsay joins the cast of Summer At the Musicals
A host of female singers are lining up to play a special charity concert in London’s West End on Sunday 28 August.
Produced by Paul Burton and Paul Burton Productions and directed by Carole Todd, Summer At the Musicals at the Phoenix Artist Club will raise funds for the Royal Variety Charity (formerly the Entertainment Artistes Benevolent Fund).
The concert, which follows on from the popular Sunday At the Musicals show which this year played the St James Theatre in June, the concert will feature a glittering line-up of female singers accompanied by pianist Michael Haslam performing songs from past and current musicals.
Confirmed vocalists include Sabrina Alouche (We Will Rock You), Bronté Barbé (Shrek the Musical), Paula Brett (Lazarus), Emily Jane Brooks (Me and My Girl), Lucyelle Cliffe (Wicked), Joanne Clifton (Strictly Come Dancing), Rebecca Eastham (London Omnibus), Samantha Harper, Lauren Hood (Mrs Henderson Presents), Lucy Kay (Britain’s Got Talent finalist), Shona Lindsay (The Phantom of the Opera), Paige Mackenzie (Babes in Arms), Amanda-Jane Manning (Shout! The Mod Musical), Sophie Reeves (Les Misérables), Faryl Smith (Britain’s Got Talent finalist), Carly Thoms (The Rise and Fall of Little Voice), Rebecca Wicking (A Tale of Two Cities) and Pippa Winslow (Other Desert Cities).
All performers will appear subject to availability.
