The Outsiders is named Best Musical at the 77th Tony Awards, Suffs wins Best Book and Score, while Merry We Roll Along and Hell’s Kitchen pick up the acting honours

The Outsiders was crowned Best Musical at the 77th Tony Awards. The musical version of SE Hinton’s 1967 novel and Francis Ford Coppola’s cult 1983 film fought off stiff opposition from Alicia Keys’ semi-autobiographical Hell’s Kitchen (featuring a book by Kristoffer Diaz and musical and lyrics by Keys).
