The world premiere production of The Little Big Things, the acclaimed new British musical based on Henry Fraser’s Sunday Times bestselling memoir, will be available to stream on National Theatre At Home from 9 May 2024.

Filmed during the show’s debut run at @sohoplace theatre, the Michael Harrison production is directed by Luke Sheppard (an Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee for & Juliet).

Inspired by the inspirational true story of Henry Fraser, an avid sportsman whose life changed forever when a diving accident at the age of 17 left him a tetraplegic, The Little Big Things features music by Nick Butcher (Loved Before), lyrics by Butcher and Tom Ling (Techies: The Musical), and a book by Joe White (Blackout Songs). The production stars Ed Larkin and Jonny Amies as Henry Fraser with Linzi Hateley and Alasdair Harvey as Henry’s parents, Fran and Andrew Fraser. Recent Olivier Award winner Amy Trigg plays physiotherapist Agnes.

The creative team for the production also includes set designer Colin Richmond, choreographer Mark Smith, costume designer Fay Fullerton, video designer Luke Halls, lighting designer Howard Hudson, sound designer Paul Gatehouse, orchestrator, arranger and musical supervisor Matthew Brind, musical director Laura Bangay, dramaturg/associate director Nickie Miles-Wildin and casting director Jill Green.

Commenting on the production’s screen debut, director Sheppard said: “We’re thrilled to extend the reach of The Little Big Things through the National Theatre at Home streaming platform. Accessibility lies at the centre of this production, and now through this release, a whole new audience can access and experience the power of Henry Fraser’s remarkable story.”

The Little Big Things will be available to stream on National Theatre at Home with captions, audio description and British Sign Language, providing inclusive and accessible theatre experiences for audiences worldwide. All titles on National Theatre at Home are available with captions, and over 85% of titles are available with Audio Description.
