A transatlantic trio of drag stars will take centre stage across the UK in 2022 in a new show celebrating the music world’s most legendary divas.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars favourites Jujubee and Trinity The Tuck will join the UK’s RuPaul Drag Race season one finalist Divina De Campo for the world premiere of Strike A Pose!
Supported by a full company of singers and dancers, the threesome will take to the stage for a glamour-filled all-singing, all-dancing spectacular featuring the songs of superstar singers including Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Cher, Lady Gaga, Judy Garland and Whitney Houston.
Announcing the show, Divina De Campo said: “Strike A Pose! is about all the divas who inspired us as drag babies, so for me, that’s Judy, Gaga, Beyoncé, all the greats… I’m going to be joined by the incredible Trinity The Truck and the gorgeous Jujubee, alongside a multi-talented cast. This is going to be an all-singing, all-dancing EXTRAVAGANZA!”
Opening at the Swan in Wycombe on 7 October 2022, the tour will visit 17 venues across the UK.
Best known for competing in the ninth season of US hit show RuPaul’s Drag Race and for being one of the winners of the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, Trinity The Tuck has released a chart-topping album, starred in music videos and hosted drag series Love for the Arts. Along with her podcast, Werk, she’ll soon be seen on ITV’s Karaoke Club: Drag Edition.
Divina De Campo is the stage name of Owen Farrow, a leading British Drag Queen known for her performances in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, The Voice and All Together Now. Known for her high soprano and four-octave range, De Campo is due to play Mary Sunshine in the upcoming UK tour of Chicago.
Jujubee competed in the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and season one and five of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Her other TV credits include US shows, Dragnificent and AJ and the Queen and she is currently releasing new music.
