Burlesque-flavoured fundraiser West End Bares will play two shows at the Novello Theatre in September.
Now in its seventh year, the show which is staged in aid of the Make a Difference Trust, the UK-based charity involved in the fight against HIV and AIDS, will play two performances on the evening of 25 September.
Based on the original concept Broadway Bares by legendary Broadway and West End director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell who launched the event to raise funds for Broadway Care/Equity Fights Aids, West End Bares combines the risqué entertainment of traditional burlesque with the crowd-pleasing glitz of a West End smash.
Details of the theme and celebrity guest line-up for this year’s show which marks the event’s debut at the Novello, will be announced in the summer.
Previous celebrity supporters include John Barrowman, Graham Norton, Paul O’Grady and Sheridan Smith.
Tickets for this year’s shows are now on sale and available from: www.delfontmackintosh.co.uk and www.seetickets.com, the DMT West End Bares booking line (0844 4825172) or from the Novello Theatre box office.
