Wilton’s Music Hall run of All-Male H.M.S. Pinafore cancelled

Regan De Wynter Williams Ltd has announced the cancellation of the Wilton’s Music Hall run of Sasha Regan’s award winning all-male version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore.

Following on from last year’s successful return of Regan’s award winning all-male version of The Pirates of Penzance, the production was due to arrive at the London venue on 15 April 2020 for a short season ahead of tour dates in May and June.

The producers’ statement read: “Regan De Wynter Williams Productions Ltd. are very disappointed to announce that owing to coronavirus (COVID-19), they are cancelling the production of Sasha Regan’s All-Male H.M.S. Pinafore at Wilton’s Music Hall which was scheduled to run from 15 April to 9 May.”

Issuing a plea to ticket-holders to wait to be contacted by box office staff, the statement went on to say the Wilton’s Music Hall team will offer three options: a donation of the full cost of the ticket which would then be split between the venue and the visiting company; a donation of a percentage of the ticket cost which would be split between the venue and the visiting company) with a partial refund; or a full refund.
