New production of Shout! The Mod Musical to open at Upstairs at the Gatehouse in early 2022

Popular jukebox musical Shout! The Mod Musical will return to London next spring in a new production at Upstairs at the Gatehouse.

Produced by the Highgate venue, the new version of the musical comedy created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein which will be directed by Joseph Hodges will run from 15 March until 17 April 2022.

Charting the lives of five women in London at the height of the Swinging Sixties, Shout! The Mod Musical features chart hits made famous by some of the biggest female stars of the day including Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Lulu and Shirley Bassey. The musical features new arrangements of hits including ‘To Sir With Love’, ‘Downtown’, ‘You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me’ and ‘Goldfinger’.

Jay Gardner will choreograph the production which will feature musical direction by Olivia Zacharia. Casting and the full creative team will be announced soon.
