West End and Broadway favourite Alfie Boe will be among the star names to take to the stage in a three-day series of spectacular concerts in the grounds of Harewood House in the heart of Yorkshire in September.
Presented by Leeds-based Vivo Entertainment, the Picnic Proms Summer Concert Series will open on 3 September with Boe (Les Misérables, West End and Broadway, La Bohème, Broadway) performing some of his favourite songs alongside special guests and fellow musical theatre stars Louise Dearman (Wicked, Apollo Victoria, Guys and Dolls, Piccadilly Theatre) and Rachel Tucker (Wicked, West End and Broadway, Come From Away, West End and Broadway).
The following evening (4 September), popular singer and presenter Aled Jones will host the classical music flavoured concert The Great Yorkshire Proms. Guest artists including world-famous baritone Willard White, sopranos Sophie Evans and Peyee Chen and vocal trio Tenors Unlimited will be accompanied by the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra – a professional orchestra created to support musicians from the Yorkshire area hit by the pandemic.
On 5 September the series will come to a close with Queen Symphonic – an orchestral celebration of Queen’s greatest hits featuring an international star cast, a five-piece rock band and the 50-piece Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra.
The Saturday and Sunday performances will conclude with a live, silent firework display designed to ensure minimal disturbance to the local wildlife. Ticket-holders for all three performances will be encouraged to make the most of the idyllic setting for the shows by bringing their own, food, drink, chairs and blankets.

The outdoor event has been created and designed to allow for any Government safety restrictions, with measures including social distancing and household bubbles available and on-site hand sanitising stations queuing systems in place.
