Camping adventures at Wilton’s Musical Hall with Sasha Regan’s smash hit all-male The Mikado

Sasha Regan’s joyous, five-star, all-male production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado is set to pitch up at Wilton’s Music Hall in London from 7 June to 1 July for a 1950s camping adventure.

Expect plenty of cheer and tuneful earworms from a sensational cast singing all the familiar rollicking G&S classics including: ‘A Wand’ring Minstrel I’, ‘Behold the Lord High Executioner’ and ‘Three Little Maids From School Are We’.

The action is cleverly and playfully transported to the 1950s when an all-boys’ school camping trip is visiting the land of Titipu. Topsy-turvy capers follow when the son of the Mikado flees his father’s imperial court and falls in love with the Lord High Executioner’s wife-to-be… but will heads roll? Find out this summer.

The all-male The Mikado last toured in 2017 to widespread critical acclaim. It arrives at Wilton’s hot-on-the-heels of Sasha Regan’s recent smash hit all-male H.M.S.
