Cast for workshop of new show The Throwaways

Due to debut at London’s The Other Palace this week (on the afternoon of 31 January), Dylan Wynford’s (Bright Young Things, The Other Palace) folk flavoured work The Throwaways follows the fortunes of a group of misfits as they battle to save their favourite comic book store.

Presented by Lambert Jackson Productions, the workshop performance will feature Lizzie Bea (due to play Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray at London Coliseum in April), Francesca Forristal (Oddball, King’s Head Theatre, The Gatehouse), Michael Hamway (Waitress, Adelphi Theatre), Sahera Khan (Am I Duhlan (Bride) Yet? Hammersmith Lyric, Battersea Art Centre, Cockpit Theatre), Andrew Langtree (The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 and ¾, Ambassadors Theatre), Siobhan O’Driscoll (American Idiot, UK and international tour), Lawrence Smith (Avenue Q, UK tour) and Courtney Stapleton (Dear Evan Hansen, Noel Coward Theatre).

Commenting on the showcase, Lambert Jackson’s Jamie Lambert and Eliza Jackson said: “We couldn’t be happier with this brilliant cast who will be working on this brand new British musical. We are so excited to see the stunning music and script by Dylan Wynford come alive with this very exciting cast.”
