Thirteen major musical theatre stars will take to the stage at St Paul’s (The Actors) Church in Covent Garden for this year’s edition of Michael D. Xavier’s festive fundraiser Christmas With the Stars on 19 December 2021.
Organised by Michael Xavier’s MX Masterclass and featuring MXM students, West End and Broadway leading man Xavier will once again host the eighth star-packed show in aid of Children with Cancer UK.
The stars giving their time for this year’s charity concert are: Dear Evan Hansen’s Lucy Anderson, Doug Colling, and Sam Tutty; Emma Kingston (Heathers); Jack Loxton (War Horse); Rebecca McKinnis (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie); Natalie Paris (Six); Jordan Shaw (Les Misérables); Giles Terera (Hamilton); Lauren Ward (Matilda); Emma Williams (Love Story); Alex Young (Show Boat); and Rupert Young (Bridgerton).
With musical direction by Alex Parker, the West End performers will be supported by the MXM choir – a group of talented students at Xavier’s London-based performing arts school.
Announcing this year’s star-studded line-up, Xavier said: “The MXM Christmas concert always attracts incredible artists, and again this year we are blessed to have some of the biggest stars of the West End coming to perform.
“I am so grateful to these fantastic performers who are giving their time and their talent to this concert. They are already extremely busy, starring in hit West End shows like Dear Evan Hansen, Les Misérables and Heathers. So, it’s incredibly generous of them to sing in our concert and help raise money for this amazing cause.”
