Gigglemug Theatre has released a video of the song ‘Home’ from new work-in-progress Scouts! The Musical first shown as part of The Great Indoors Weekender – the UK’s biggest digital summer camp.
Featuring music and lyrics by David Fallon and lyrics by Gigglemug’s artistic director Sam Cochrane, ‘Home’ is performed by Fallon and Tendai Rinomhota with the arrangement, backing vocals and keys and trumpet by Rob Gathercole. The video also features Edward Hole on guitars, Phil Corbitt on sax and Celeste Collier on backing vocals.
Written by Cochrane (book/lyricist/co-director/producer) and Fallon (composer/lyricist/MD), Scouts! The Musical had been chosen as one of the new British musicals to be showcased at BEAM2020 at Royal & Derngate, Northampton in March.
Scouts! The Musical will be the second comedy musical from Gigglemug following on from the Edinburgh Fringe hit Timpson: The Musical which won The Stage Edinburgh Award in 2018. The full version of the show is available to stream at www.youtube/LfzOOWCi8Ag.
