Lambert Jackson has revealed the full cast for the upcoming concert presentation of the multi-award-winning Broadway and West End musical Once.
As previously announced former Heathers co-stars Carrie Hope Fletcher (Cinderella, Gillian Lynne Theatre, Les Misérables, Queen’s Theatre) and Jamie Muscato (Moulin Rouge!, Piccadilly Theatre, Spring Awakening, Novello Theatre/Lyric Hammersmith) will reunite for the two performances at the London Palladium on 12 March 2023.
They will joined by actor/musicians Phil Adèle (The Lion King, West End), Kamilla Gregorovitch (The Grammar of Witchcraft, Camden Fringe Festival), Seán Keany (Once The Musical UK tour), Alasdair Macrae (The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart at NTS), Loris Scarpa (Rapunzel, Watermill Theatre), Jos Slovick (Beautiful, UK tour), Christina Tedders (Dick Whittington and his Cat, Hackney Empire), Angus Tikka, Susannah Van Den Berg (101 Dalmatians, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) and Michael Vien. Tabitha Storton will play Ivonka at the matinee show and Mia Raggio will take the role at the evening performance.
Directed by Dean Johnson with musical direction by Adam Hoskins, Once – In Concert is produced by Lambert Jackson and Positive Sum Productions.
Based on the cult favourite 2007 film which was written and directed by John Carney, the musical version of Once also features music and lyrics by original writers Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová including the Oscar-winning song ‘Falling Slowly’. With a book by Edna Walsh, Once premiered on Broadway in 2012 with a production which received 11 Tony award nominations, winning eight including Best Musical.
