Musical whodunit Murder For Two will return to The Other Palace for a five-week run in December following a short UK tour.
With a book and music by Joe Kinosian and book and lyrics by Kellen Blair, the Off-Broadway hit received its European premiere at The Watermill Theatre before playing The Other Palace last year.
Opening at Cardiff’s New Theatre (22-27 October) the production will visit the Theatre Royal, Windsor (1-3 November), Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre (8-10 November) and Nottingham Theatre Royal (26-28 November). The show will then play The Other Palace from 10 December until 13 January 2019.
Featuring two actors playing 13 characters and the piano, the lively murder mystery is directed by Luke Sheppard (In The Heights, King’s Cross Theatre) with musical direction and sound design by Tom Attwood (Peter and the Starcatcher, Theatre Royal Northampton) and design by Gabriella Slade (The Importance of Being Earnest, Vaudeville Theatre).
Ed MacArthur (The Borrowers, Watermill Theatre, Arcadia UK tour) and Jeremy Legat (Grey Gardens, Southwark Playhouse, Wicked, Apollo Theatre) will reprise their critically-acclaimed performances as Officer Marcus Moscowicz and The Suspects respectively.
