Four decades of classic show tunes celebrating the city of New York will form the basis of new musical Give My Regards to Broadway which will receive its world premiere in London this summer.
Featuring Great American Songbook songs written between 1902 and 1942, the revue style show will play Upstairs at the Gatehouse in Highgate Village from 17 July until 5 August.
Directed by Harry Blumenau with choreography 2018 Offie Award winner Chris Whittaker, the show will feature the music of George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin. Jerome Kern and Harold Arlen.
With new musical arrangements by Lawrence Michalowski, the show’s creative team also includes musical director Ashley Jacobs, lighting designer Ali Hunter and sound designer Phil Wilson.
Produced by Joseph Hodges, casting by Debbie O’Brien will be announced at a later date. The show will also feature as part of the Camden Fringe Festival 2018.
