The West End production of Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ hit musical Six will welcome a full complement of new Queens to the Vaudeville Theatre stage next month.

From 17 October, Nikki Bentley (Wicked, Apollo Victoria) will play Catherine of Aragon, with Thao Therese Nguyen (Miss Saigon, West End/UK and Ireland tour) as Anne Boleyn, Kayleigh McKnight (Heathers The Musical, The Other Palace) as Jane Seymour, Reca Oakley (Six, Norwegian Cruise Line) as Anna of Cleves, Inez Budd (Heathers The Musical, The Other Palace) as Katherine Howard and Janiq Charles (Disney’s The Lion King, West End/UK tour) as Catherine Parr.

They will be joined by Gabriella Stylianou ((The Great British Bake Off Musical, Everyman Theatre/Cheltenham/West End) as Alternate Aragon/Seymour and Dance Captain, Naomi Alade (Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, UK tour) as Alternate Boleyn/Cleves, Hannah Lowther (The SpongeBob Musical, Southbank Centre, London/UK tour) as Alternate Howard/Parr, Meg Dixon-Brasil (Six, Norwegian Cruise Line) and Natalie Pilkington (Six, UK and Ireland tour/South Korea/ Norwegian Cruise Line) as UK Super Swing across both the West End and touring productions of the musical.

In response to high public demand, the West End production’s Vaudeville Theatre run has been extended again with performances now available to book up to November 2024.

The producers are continuing their firm commitment to access and education by announcing BSL, audio described and captioned shows in July and October 2024, and new Sing A Long performances on 12 May and 25 August 2024, plus the first ever schools only matinees on Thursdays during term time.

Written by university friends Marlow and Moss, the musical which puts the spotlight on the wives of Henry VIII as they form a 21st century girl band, started life as a student production in a 100-seat room at Sweet Venue during the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The Six international success story is showing no signs of abating with productions of the musical theatre phenomenon currently touring across the UK, a recent Australian tour and two concurrent productions travelling across North America. The show also continues on Broadway, where it won two Tony Awards, four Drama Desk Awards, and three Outer Critics Circle Awards including Outstanding New Musical.

Presented by Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes and George Stiles, the show which features tracks including ‘Ex Wives’, ‘Haus of Holbein’ and ‘Don’t Lose Ur Head’, is directed by co-creator Moss and Jamie Armitage.

The creative team also includes choreographer Carrie-Anne Ingrouille and musical supervisor Joe Beighton, with set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, sound design by Paul Gatehouse and orchestrations by Tom Curran. Casting for Six is by Pearson Casting.
